Aby Warburg, Magic, Fascism, and the Umbilical Cut

On Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 7pm local time, Siri will give the lecture "Aby Warburg, Magic, Fascism, and the Umbilical Cut" at Warburg House in Hamburg.

"The Warburg House is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its building this year. We are marking this milestone in the spirit of Aby Warburg by presenting a series of lectures by engaged intellectuals on one of the most pressing issues of our time: "Freedom in Art and Science." We begin this series, which will be held periodically throughout 2026 and 2027, with a lecture by the New York writer Siri Hustvedt."

This event is fully booked.
