Brooklyn Book Festival

Brooklyn Book Festival

The Brooklyn Book Festival kicks off on September 11, 2017, with multiple events taking place around the borough. On Sunday, September 17th, at 4.30 pm, join three global literary citizens for "Minds Without Borders": Pankaj Mishra (Age of Anger), Siri Hustvedt (A Woman Looking At Men Looking At Women: Essays On Art, Sex, and the Mind), and Suzy Hansen (Notes on a Foreign Country) address the persistence of biases from nationalism, Americanism, racism, and misogny, and consider how these biases play out on an international stage and in the social fabric of divergent cultures. Moderated by poet and journalist Eliza Griswold (The Tenth Parallel).

Multiple events are taking place around Brooklyn, so check the full schedule for details.
